🇺🇸 NEW SHOW: Charting in the USA
We officially welcomed Charting in the USA with Chuck Shorter to the Classic Mix Radio lineup! 🎉
Every Saturday, Chuck takes us back through the charts with hits spanning 1955–1999. From songs you haven’t heard in years to the ones you still know every word to, it’s a trip through decades of chart-topping music.

💿 COMING THIS MONTH: B Side with Steve Benz
The A-side got all the attention… but what was hiding on the other side? 👀
Starting this September, Steve Benz joins Classic Mix Radio with our newest show, B Side!
Back in the days of 45 RPM records, the A-side usually carried the big single while the B-side held another track that didn’t always get the same spotlight. Sometimes it was forgotten. Sometimes it became a fan favorite. And every once in a while, the B-side became an even bigger hit.
B Side is giving those songs their turn.

🍂 September = Back to the Routine
Summer is winding down, vacations are ending, and everyone is getting back into their routines—which means you need a good soundtrack for it.
We want to also give a special shoutout to our amazing Marketing Intern, Aimee, who has started school again and will not be continuing with us. Aimee was such a big help in the growth of Classic Mix Radio and we are thankful for all the work shes done!

Story of the Month
Some things should stay off the air…
Someone at a radio station once learned a very important lesson: just because the microphone looks off doesn’t mean it actually is.
After finishing a segment, the guest (a licensed therapist) leaned back and confidently announced:
“Thank God that’s over. I have absolutely no idea what I just talked about.”
The microphone was still live.
The listeners knew.
The staff knew.
And about three seconds later… he knew. 😭
Moral of the story: Always assume the mic is hot—and save the existential crisis for the commercial break. 🎙️😂
